Both apartments are situated right in the centre of the city,
about a 7 minute walk from Princes Street, in a quiet location
close to Broughton Street where you'll find lots of great bars,
cafes and restaurants. Getting there is easy whether you're travelling
by car, on foot or arriving by train or plane.
Here's a summary of how to find us - also check out the map for
our locations!
By Plane...
The Edinburgh
Turnhouse Airport has several daily connecting flights
from the major London airports (check out cheap deals from
BA, BMI and
Easyjet), as well as other centres around the UK and Europe.
Once at the airport, take the airport bus to Waverley train
station,
then it's a short cab ride or a 7 minute walk. Alternatively,
a cab direct from the airport to our door will cost about £18.
By Train...
Edinburgh is linked to the rest of the UK by an excellent rail
network (weather permitting). You can travel directly from London,
Glasgow, and many other cities and towns. Timetables and other
rail information can be found at Railtrack.
Once at Waverley train station (just off Princes Street),
the apartments are either a short cab ride, or a 7 minute walk
-
follow the directions below.
By Car (or on foot) to Gayfield St
Find Princes Street on the map. The A1 and A68 terminate at
the east end of Princes Street. From the A1 you make a right
turn
from Waterloo Place on to the A900 (Leith). From the A68 you
veer right from South Bridge on to the A900. In both cases, carry
on
down Leith Street until you reach a roundabout. Carry straight
over (the Playhouse Theatre will be on your right) and turn left
onto Union Street - a narrow street directly opposite the theatre.
If you go as far as a second roundabout, you've gone too far!
Once on Union Street, go down to the bottom of the hill and turn
right. You're now on Gayfield Street and the apartment is about
50 metres along on the left hand side at number 3.
By Car (or on foot) to Gayfield Square
Find Princes Street on the map. The A1 and A68 terminate at
the east end of Princes Street. From the A1 you make a right
turn
from Waterloo Place on to the A900 (Leith). From the A68 you
veer right from South Bridge on to the A900. In both cases, carry
on
down Leith Street until you reach a roundabout. Carry straight
over (the Playhouse Theatre will be on your right) and continue down the street to the next roundabout. Take the first exit heading directly ahead down the hill but turn IMMEDIATELY left (almost on the roundabout) on to Gayfield Square. Number 3 Gayfield Square is about 100 metres down on the left (just past the police station and it's very secure!).
By Car (or on foot) to Scotland St

then first right (on to Drummond Place). First right again and
you're on Scotland Street. Number 28 is at the bottom on the
